This matter had been called to Alexandria'attentien by Major Directorate of Intelligence Operatlons, Security Division, Department of the Army, Pentagon, Arlington, virginia. Major advised that Anderson's article contains classified information regarding the army's Chapagral Missile, which Anderson claiss to have taken. from'a copy he obtained of the General.Accounting Office'. classifted study of the short-range air defense system.. Major. in addition to reporting this matter to, the FBi, reque$ted that we attempt to recover. this classified report from Anderson.. As indicated above, we do not institute. investigations iato these type matters unless so instrueted. by the Department, who, 1n the past,has always requested answers to the ll .questios shown on previous pages, before making any determination as to the course of action to be taken.
