Oakland, on June 29, 1951. According to TREUHAFT addressed this meeting stating that the CRc was in need or.Ioans to establish funds for. a "Bail. Trust Fund." TREUHAFT said the fund was set up to bail progressive. leaders out of .jail and was under the trusteeship of the law firm of THEUHAFT and EDISEs, CRC,Attorneys, and. that the money could be drawn out.. whenever the. lender desired to do sc. On October 8, 195 Said that TREUHAFT attended a meeting sponsored by the CRc at Oakland Auditorium on September 13, 195l. According to ILLIAM PArTERsON, a national functionary of the CRC, was the- featured. speaker at. this meeting. On January 3, 1952 said that TREUHAFT was pr esent at a Center Streets, Oakland. b2 has advised that the NIC in.the East Bay,Area was.completely b7D Commnist cominated and controlled. On August 17, 1951 of known reliability, stated that TREUHAFT appeared as a speaker at a cRc meeting at Norway Hall, Oakland, on June 29, 1951.
