Synopsis: Case closing..
Details: This case was opened based upon the 08/22/2o03 receipt
of a letter by the Albany, Ny, satellite office of Senator.
Hillary Clinton. The letter was addressed to Senator clinton and
contained a piece of white colored note paper with brown colored
granules attached with glue.
There were no words on the paper.
Investigation at Albany has determined the likely
sender of the letter to be
of Albany, NY. An
interview conducted of
revealed that she had sent two
letters during a short period of time, one to the Albany City
Clerk's Office regarding her dog license, the other to Senator.
Clinton's Albany office regarding senior citizens' rights in
respect to prescription drug insurance coverage.
During the interview,.
advised that she
recalls finding some milfoil weed in a lake near her home and
that she had placed a sample of the weed in an envelope.
believes that she may have inadvertently placed the.
envelope back with the new envelopes.
A latent print examination was conducted on the letter,.
however, no identification was effected. The letter was also
