For the information of the FBr Laboratory, instant fire-. place tongs were unearthed fron the backyard of Dr. Sam Sheppard on ll/l9/82 by a neignbor who was putting in a new water line. This individual wrapped the tongs in newspapers which are. enclosed. The Bay Viilage, Ohio Police Department subseguently wrapped the package in the brown wrapping paper which is also. being submitted. The envelopes contain debris which was preserved from tongs and is also being submitted.. Chief of Police Peter Gray, Bay village, Ohio Police Department and Dr. Samuel Gerbgr, Cuyahoga County, Ohio Coroner,. have requested the submission of these items to the FBr Laboratory. and requested the followiny examinattons:.
