Adam Szubin is a member of Sullivan & Cromwell's Financial Services Group, focusing his practice on controls, money laundering and counter terrorism. Prior to joining Sullivan & Cromwell, Mr. Szubin was the Acting Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence at the U.s. Department of the. Treasury. During his nearly 13-year tenure at Treasury, Mr. Szubin served as the Director of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence. Ivan Timofeev is Director of Programs at the Russian International Affairs Council (RlAC) in Moscow. is an author or co-author of more than 70 publications, issued in Russia as well as abroad.
