Since March, I979, our Albuquerque Orfice has. conducted an inguiry concerning the aforementioned mutilations and are in contact with other Iaw enforcement agencies investigating animal sutilations. There have been no new cattle mutiiations reported to us in Indian country, and our Investigation with respect to the identities of the indi-iduals responsible for the fifteen cattle mutilations has been negative to date.
