PURPOSE:
To report the results of the examination of hairs-from the.
captioned organization.
DETAILS:
By memorandum, Cochran to McDermott, dated 12/13/76, we
agreed to examine a hair sample on behalf of the captioned organization.
A letter to this effect dated 12/15/76, was sent to Mr. Peter Byrne,
Director of captioned organization.
Recently, the hair sample (photograph attached) was delivered
to the Laboratory by Mr. Howard S. Curtis, Executive Vice President,
Academy of Applied Science, Boston, Massachusetts. This Academy
sponsors the captioned organization.
The hairs were determined to be from a member of the deer.

Mr. Curtis requested that a letter setting forth the results of
the examination be furmished to him since Mr. Byrne will be out of the
country for several months. He also requested that the hairs be
turned to him.
