DETAILS: By memorandum, Cochran to McDermott, dated 12/13/76, we agreed to examine a hair sample on behalf of the captioned organization. A letter to this effect dated 12/15/76, was sent to Mr. Peter Byrne, Director of captioned organization. Recently, the hair sample (photograph attached) was delivered to the Laboratory by Mr. Howard S. Curtis, Executive Vice President, Academy of Applied Science, Boston, Massachusetts. This Academy sponsors the captioned organization. The hairs were determined to be from a member of the deer. family.
