of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (Rccr) ship Brilliance of the
Seas (Bos), located at 1050 Caribbean Way, Miami, Fl 33132-2096,

telephone number 305/539-6000 was interviewed on board the Bos.

After advising
bf the nature of the interview and the
identity of the interviewing Agent,
Iprovided the.
following information:
Jwas notified of possible blood on the port
side canopy above the life boats..
Iresponded to the.
area and observed blood.
first reaction was that an

accident had occurred and that someone possibly fell from the upper

deck. After a quick check,
realized that someone must
have fallen from a cabin balcony.
then instructed members of his crew to check
the cabins above and in line with where the blood was, located.
specificaliy checking the cabins for signs of blood.
then examined the boat chart to identify possible cabins..
In so
doing,
met with the Hotel Director (Hd) who commented
that early that morning, there was a drunk lady passenger who was.

taken to cabin #9062.
ordered a check of the ship's

gangway Sea Pass system (a system which registers the exit and.
entry off and on the ship of passengers and crew members when the.
ship makes a port of call).
This check revealed that the
passengers of cabin #9062, George SmiTH and
were
still on board.
ordered that SmITH and
be paged
over the ship's intercom system.
At approximately 10:00am,
lreceived
information that.
had been located in the ship's spa.
SMITH
ordered the paging of

had still not been located.
The continued paging

SMiTH continue, to include inside the cahins.
of smith was met with negative results.
then contacted
the ship's port Agent in Turkey and ordered the Agent.
to contact the local authorities. The ship was docked at Kusadasi,
Turkey and the search on the ship for SmiTh continued.
While waiting for the Turkish authorities to respond,
