produced by The Mirisch Corporation, Los Angeles,. California. and is based
on an original screenplay by Alan R. Trustman.
Reportedly, the picture will
have actor Steve Mcueen in a starring role. Representatives of the producer
have been in contact with us In an effort to secure permission to photograph the
Boston Cffice in connection wlth this picture. A draft of the screenplay has
been received at the Bureau and reviewed.
The story involves a bank robbery in Eoston conceived and
directed by Thomas Crown, who employs five others to commit the robbery
aujl then secretes the remaining proceeds in a Swlss bank. The investigation

by|the Boston FBI Cffice, headed by Edward Rock, makes no progress until
bank's insurer assigns a beautiful young girl investigator to work with the
MAP
I. She completely dominates the investigation and, entirely through her.

the romantic relationship between the girl and Crown. Rock is fully aware af
the methods being used by.the girl to extract admissions from Crown. The
(story ends when the girI and the FBi are cutwitted by Crown, who flies to
Brazil, leaving a final invitation for the girl to join him in that country..
