Details: The captioned matter involves the 9/29/97 demonstration of the Fort Benning Military Reservation various by members of. the School of The Americas (soA) watch, an organization devoted. to the closure of the United states Army School of The Americas. At the conclusion of the protest, and upon the arrival of the local news media, captioned subjects wILLIAm.BrchsEL,. b6 CHARLES b7C LITEKY trespassed onto the reservation, and in an act of civil disobedience destroyed United States Government property by forcibly removing letters from, and the captioned subjects refused to exit the military reservation when given orders to do so by the Military Police.
