permission.
EDWARD A. HEFFERMAN, former Assistant District
Attorney unier wiLLIAm O'DwyeR, testified before the New
York City Crime Conmission racket investigation on December
17, l952 that in the gang murder of longshoreman PETER PANTo,
he had received information from ALBE:T ANNENBAUN, one of
the informants of Murder, Inc. that MEndy wEiss admitted
