To: San Francisco From: San Francisco Re: 9b-SF-138929, 11/10/2005 Congresswoman Lofgren could help him put an end to this. further indicated the police stole his gun.. On 11/8/05, at 8:29pm, called and left a voice mail message at' Congresswoman's' Lotgren'office. again complained about the inaction by IA and the IPA.. stated Bakersfield is only a temporary thing, " ... when I get back to San. Jose I plan on taking out as many lives as possible." On 11/09/2005, at 5:37pm, San Francisco FBI called and spoke with. Congressional Assistant from Congresswoman Lofgren's office, San Jose branch. . advised no specific threat was made directly to Congresswoman Lofgren and or her staff.. advised since September 2oo5 they have received letters from which were delusional in nature. was not happy with the outcome of his complaint to SJpD. On 11/10/2005, SF-FBI and SJpD met with Congresswoman b6 Lofgren's Chief of Staff -. and at 635 North b7C First Street, Suite B, San Jose, CA 95122, telephone number. (408)271-8700. The investigating officer for the SJpD is Detective Itelephone nymber After conferring with Jand acknowledged the threats made by were not directed at Congresswoman Lofgren's office, however, the voice mail messages left by. lon their voice mail was disconcerting. It was agreed that a letter would be prepared from Congresswoman Lofgren's office and mailed to The letter was to direct. to contact San Francisco FBI, in Specific Special Agent in order to draw the focus away from Congresswoman Lofgren's office.. On 11/10/2o05, San Francisco FBI contacted and apprized Sacramento Division at Bakersfield and the Capital Police.* Both entities were advised of San Francisco course of action. United was contacted and was presented the above matter. usao - San Jose opined there was insufficient basis for federal prosecution. suggested that with the current information that the telephone threats have all come within the state of California, that this matter be prosecuted by the State of California. criminal history was reviewed which did not. reveal any significant criminal history.. was arrested in 1987 for assaulting emergency personnel and resisting arrest but the charge was dismissed.
