Details: On 11/16/20o0, Chief Chuck Cook, Memphis Police Department MpD.Memphis, TN, tel. #(901) 545-5706, at the behest of Nelson Mandela's bodyguard, called a meeting of the principals involved in coordinating Mandela's visit to the Memphis area. International Paper, Little Rock, AR, advised of a revised itinerary for Mandela. He said Mandela would be flying in to Memphis, TN on Tuesday, 11/21/2o00, at approximately 4:00pM; he evening, and where he will be spending the night. On Wednesday, 11/22/2oo0, Mandela's agenda calls for him to leave the Peabody Hotel around 8:45am, and travel to the Temple of Deliverance, Memphis, TN, to deliver a speech, after which time he will be transported to Memphis International Airport and depart the area on an early afternoon flight.
