FD-302 (REV. 3-10-82) FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION 11/2/92 Date of transcription New York State Police Investigator b6 who is assigned to the Governor's Security Detail, Executive b7C Mansion, Albany, New York 12202, forwarded to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Boston, Massachusetts, the original of a letter that contained threats directed against Governor Mario Cuomo, and Massachusetts' Governor, William A. Weld, via the United States mail. The letter was contained in an envelope that was addressed to the New York State Supreme Court, 36o Adams Street, Brooklyn, New York. It reflected a United States Postal Canceliation post mark of "Bakersfield, California, and dated 9/8/92". The envelope reflected a return address of: b6 csp Corcoran, California State Prison, Post office Box b7C 3476, Corcoran, California 93212". (See xerox copy attached.) The letter contained the following message: "To Mario Como (sic) Governor of New York and Governor of Massachusetts Williams (sic) Weld. I am going to kill you both, I have ties to major crime families in New York and in California, and several other states, I am going to murder the both of you. Very Very Soon. I declare under the penalty of 9q periury that the foregoing is ture and correct.
