Omar Ahmed Al-Bayoumi -Background Citizen ofSaudi Arabia; DOB: H1/29/i957,entered the U.S.via Los Angeles 1993 on a siudent visa; met with Flight #77 hijackers Nawaf A1-Hazni and Khahid Al-Mihdhar m LA in Jansary 2000 just after their arrival invited Al-Hazmi and Al-Mihdhar to San Dicgo; arranged an apartment for the hijackers in his compiex, occasionally paid rent on the hijacker's apartment, hosteda party/reception for then and cosigned their aparmient lease as a guaranior. In 1995, Ercan Engineering. a San Diego subcontractor of Dallah/Avco, was asked by the CAA to provide financial support to Al Bayoumi whle he studied in the U.S.Erean refused and was told its contract may be jeopardized as a result. Al-Bayoumi toldNSY that the CAA pays him $5,000 per month to study in England for his PhD. However, the Mabahith claims Al-Bayoumi is financing his own education.
