Information management: the planning, controlling, directing, organizing, training, promoting, and other managerial activities involved with respect to the organized collection, processing, transmission, and dissemination of information. 15.1.4. Life cycle: the concept that records pass through several stages, which are creation, maintenance and use, and disposition.. 15.1.5.
