In response to your request, FBI central files were. checked with negative results regarding Otto Albrecht von Bolschwing based upon identifiable information furnished; however, our files reveal the following information which may relate to the subject of your inguiry. The FBI was advised in December, l98l, in connection with a Freedom of Information Act inquiry, that the May 28, 198l, edition of the "Sacramento Bee," Sacramento, California,. reported that the Department of Justice had begun court. proceedings to revoke the citizenship of one Otto Albrecht Alfred von Bolschwing. It was reported in the article that von Bolschwing, in his l959 naturalization application, illegally concealed his prior membership in the Nazi party; its secret police known as the ss, and its intelligence wingy known as the SD. In response to these allegations, von, Bolschwing denied serving in the Ss, Gestapo, or the SD.. Mr. von Bolschwing did admit working for "the American's," mainly in Germany.. The "Sacramento Bee" report also stated that. acgording to von Bolschwing's wife, Agnes, he came to the Exec.A Unjted States in l938, and became a lieutenant colonel Exec.
