contained a threat to Congressman Murtha's life.
The letter was

postmarked 3/21/90, and the return address on the envelope
listed the sender as

of Somerset State Hospital,
Somerset, PA.

Officials at the Somerset State Hospital confirmed that.
subject is currently a patient at that insitution. Officials of

the hospital advised that subject has been diagnosed as a
16
chronic schizophrenic and has been continuously treated at
Somerset State Hospital and Fairview State Hospital from 1983
17
through the present time.
