Director, FBI July 171947 Re: RECOVERY OF FLYING DISC NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA, JULY9,1947 On the following dayJuly 101947one FRANK V.ABROwN 6552 Teesdale Avenue, North Hollywood, reported that on this morning he was at the North Hollywood Service Station eating at which time there was considerable talk about the flying disc having been found in the vicinity. A number of what appeared to be young high school students were present and were having quite a laugh about the excitement caused by the finding of the disc. BRowN stated that he received a definite impression that these young students either had themselves or knew of someone who had been working for the past two weeks making this "flying disc".BRowN was of them who was making the statements as being employed in a Chevron Service Station at the corner of Victory Boulevard and Whitsett Street.
