Monitoring/recording of these conversations wus es Til. f authorized es being in the best interest of law enforcement in that it is expected to provide corroborative evidence and/or to protect the individual(s) utilizing the equipment. As the authorization is for the interception of conversations, as delineated in Part II(A) ef the November 7, 1983 memorandum, and further monitoring/recerding is expected this matter, it is requested that your office approve the use this equipment for a period of 60 days, peginning on the 13, mention date.
