"Crime Victims Compensation Act of 1971"
Anyone guilty of misrepresentation may be subject to a $1,000 fine
and/or imprisonment for a term not to exceed one year.
The bill calls for the appropriation of $2,000,000 to cover
administration costs and compensation awards, and would apply only to those
injuries which are inflicted on and after July 1, 1972. A copy of the bill is attached.
