According to the article, "The Progressive Labor Movement was founded in 1922, by MILTON ROSEN and NORTIMER SCHEER after they were expelled from the Communist Party of the United States for assertedly following the Chinese Communist line." held its Second National Convention in New York City, May 31, to June 2, 1968, at which time the PLP reasserted its objective of the establishment of a militant working class movement based on Marxism-Leninism.
