A review of the records of the Criminal Court of the City of New York, Part 1Bl, Room 221, 100 Centre Street, New York City (NYC), on December 16, 1969, disclosed that the charge of Illegal Possession of Weapons against the subject in connection with his arrest by the NYC Police Department (PD) on March 23, 1969, was dismissed by the Court on December 15, 1969, on a motion made by an Assistant District Attorney of the City of New York, based on insufficient evidence to prosecute. On December 16, 1969, a representative of the NYC District Attorney's Office advised a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation that the subject did not personally appear in Part 1Bl, of the Criminal Court of the City of New York on December 15, 1969, but was represented by h's attorney Gerald Lefcourt, The March, 1969 issue of "Rights" self-described as a publication of the National Emergency Civil Liberties Committee (NECLC), on page 12, reported that on February 1, (1969), the NECLC welcomed Gerald Lefcourt to its‘ staff as Legislative Director.
