On September 4, 1969, at approximately 10:00 a.m. a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (SA, FBI) observed Abbott Hoffman and his attorney, Gerald Lefcourt, enter part 1Bl of the Criminal Court of the City of New York, Room 219, 100 Centre Street, New York City, where Hoffman was scheduled to appear before the court for a hearing based on e motion previously made by Hoffman's attorney to suppress the evidence (evidence illegally seized) in connection with his having been arrested by the New York City Police Department (NYCPD) on March 23,1969, on the charge of Illegal Possession of Weapons.
