"WE FULLY SUPPORT the demands of S.A.S. and S.D.S. students now occupying liberated zones at Columbia University. In particular we support the demand for total amnesty and reject the use of police to clear the campus of demonstrators. At 9:00 PM, on May 24, 1968, SAS of the FBI observed - a tlash bomb ignited on the roof of the building located at 33 St. Mark's Place, New York City. This flash bomb gave off a brilliant white flash of light and approximately fifty hippie-type individuals gathered in the street cheered at its ignition. —
