sedan, VIN 1112405455 in the amount of $2,595. The subdject
traded in a 1959 Voli:swagen fastbacx for which he received
an allowance of $1,200 and he vaid the balance of $1,395
in cash.
On December 9, 1971,
United States Court of Appeals (USCA), Chicago, ols,
made available to the Chicago Division of the FBI a copy of
a motion filed on December 7, 1971, with the USCA by THOMAS
M, HANEY, Chicago counsel acting for the subject requesting
permission of the USCA for the suodject to travel from time
to tire while residing in tne U. S. Virgin Islands, through
April, 1972, to such points in the Caribbean as the British
Virgin Islands, Antigua, Dominica, and the French Overseas
Departrents of Martinioue and Guadaloupe. The purpose of
the subject's visit to such islands would be solely for
pleasure, sightseeins, and relaxation.
On December 9, 1971, Assistant United States Attorney
(ausa) JAMES BREEN, Nortnern District of Tllinois (NDI),
; hicago, Illinois, advised that by order dated Decenber 7, 1971,
the USCA, Chicago, Dllinois, granted. the subject oermission
to maxe the travel as requested to various islands in the
Caribbean from tire to time during the period of his residency
in the U, S. Virgin Islands.
