The "New York Post," in its August 31, 1971 issue
on page 4 contained an article entitled, "Abbie's 'Steal
This Book! Stole Mine: Co-Author" which stated in part as
follows:
"The East Village radical listed as ‘co-conspirator'
on Abbie Hoffman's best selling revolutionary manual, 'Steal
This Book,' has accused Hoffman of stealing the authorship,
profits and rights of the book from him,

wrote the 700-page manuscript that Hoffman whittled down and
