JOSEPH TAFE said that HOFFMAN was not present at Court on this occasion, due to the fact that his wife had just given birth to a child, Subject's bail continued to be set at $20,000. No further dates were, at that time, set for future proceedings in this case,, # On September 20, 1971, JOSEPH TAFE, supra, advised that the motions, above mentioned, remain in a pending status. There have been no further Court proceedings nor have there been any dates set for future proceedings, according to TAFE. II. FOREIGN TRAVEL On August 30, 1971, AUSA JAMES BREEN, NDI, Chicago, Illinois, made available to the Chicago Division of the FBI a copy of a motion filed on August 27, 1971, with the United States Court of Appeals (USCA), Seventh Circuit, Chicago, Illinois, by THOMAS M. HANEY, Chicago Counsel, acting for the subject requesting permission of the USCA for the subject to travel to Jamaica during the last week in September, 1971, and again for the period November, 1971, through February, 1972. In the motion the subject stated that he intended to travel to Jamaica during the last week of September, 1971, in' order to locate a place of residence for himself and his family for the period from November, 1971 through Febrm 1ry, 1972. In the motion the subject also stated that he in- tended to reside in Jamaica during the period November, 1971, through February, 1972, with his family for the purpose of recovering his health from physical injuriea he sustained Sa e em Sey +S in the past several months and to write a new book. On September 8, 1971, WISA JAMES BREEN, NDI, Chicago, Illinois, made available a copy of a supplemental motion filed on September 7, 1971, with the USCA, Chicago, Illinois, on behalf of the subject.
