Then it's well, you see we crossed state lines, I guess. I guess that's the only you can dé it nowadays. "But anyway, all of a sudden, everyone knew what happened in Chicago. I mean, people here, the whce world was watching, the hectic week, and-everybody knew it was Mayor Daley, and the Neanderthals in Chicago that run that city. And the police you know, were responsbile for the blood and the riots that flowed in the streets of Chicago. Even the government's own official investigation committee, the Walker, Walker Commission, determined that it was a police riot. "So you see there is no court in America where you can put Mayor Daley and those other people on trial. In fact they had eight policemen to lance the eight of us, tried too. They thought that was a semblance of justice. But within one or twe months after our triel happened, every single policeman was let free. One policeman had, had sent one newsman to the hospital with twenty-four stitches in his head. There were photos, movies of this event, and the judge said,well, we gotta dismiss the charge because the newsman called him a (obscene) and he did what any redblooded American would-do, sent him to the hospital. Right on said the judge and out goes the (obscene) COPseee ; “That's what political trials are about. You're on trial for who you are, not for what you did. Ever. No matter what it is. Wearing a shirt, you know , even killing. Because murder, murder in this country,if you have a uniform is legal. You wear costumes or run around naked, like us, it's a crime. But if you have a uniform,it's legal. So that, always remember, it's not what's happening, it's who's doing the what that counts in American Courts. That's called justice... "Lennie Bruce once said that in the halls of justice in America the only justice is out in the (obscene) halls. And that's rightm, that's for a fact in America, Nobody ean get a fair trial in America. Every trial is a poltical trial. Remember that. If you go in the (obscene) jail, we went in the jail to have our (obscene) heads shaved, that's why I've got long hair, that's the only reason for having short hair, in America, is either you're a pig or you got your head (obscene) ‘e 27 - are
