SEQRET §éc , < PSCGRESSIVE LABOR PARTY “The New York Times” city edition, Tuesday, April 20, 1965, page 27, reported that a new party of “revolutionary socialism" was formally founded on April 18, 1965, under the name of the Progressive Labor Party (PLP) which had been known as the Progressive Labor Movement. According to the article, "The Progressive Labor Movement was founded in 1962 by MILTON ROSEN and MORTIMER SCHEER after they were expelled from the Communist Party of the United States for assertedly following the Chinese Communist line.” The PLP publishes "Progressive Labor," a bimonthly Magazine, and "Challenge-Desafio,” a monthly newspaper.
