The scientisis of all nations calied upon 9 A ul-
Hary in every othar nation to sim their atomic miss-
des at the asteroid and to fire simultangously. In
thia way the ssteroid wes destroyed by the same
weapons that had caused its creation.
Representatives of the presse were present al the
showing. Alter tt wae over, i was asked if such a
thing could happen in real life, t replied that if could
and gave the following explenation:
“The lightning? bolt i¢. craated from invisible par-
ticles of matter hat are fused together by the terr-
Hic heat of @ natural electrical discharge. li is entirely
Postible for the millions. of tona of debria that have
been blown into the upper regione of tha earth's
Simosphere to come together and form an artificial
esteroid. The larger the mass of debris, the more
atiraction it would have for additional particies.”
Thie. picture alerted me to the possibility that rad-
jation and faliout are net the only dangers we might
be facing. from our atomic saptosions,
Reports have come from Mexico ¢teting that a
tuge fireball crashed into @ mountain just before the
disastrous earthquake there in August of 1959,
Recently several planes have reporiediy hit objects
from space. Some have survived; others have eras-
hed to their doom. Could they have crashed into
some of the. high-energy pocksis leit by eur explos-
fons?
Some of thease man-made asteroids burn and glow,
and could be mistaken for ordinary meteorites. This
may also be the answer io some of the fireballs thet
have been reported.
By the way of closing thie chapter, | would fike to
reproduce im part a letter concarning the lectyre in
Amsterdam, seal te ¢o-workers in The Netherlands
area. It was written by Mise Rey d'Aquils, dated
dune 13th, 1959, and reads a2 fellows:
"At the end of fhe lecture in Amsterdam, Pro-
fessor E. L. Seelliger of Bargen (HH), physicist and
former Delft Professa;, stepped on. the plattorm and
thanked ‘our friend Adamski’ in public for the things
that he had brought ws. Guoting him exactly: ‘The
things that we have heard may sound strange to most
of vs, # not all, but strange things happen avery
day, it our eyes are open. t hope that we will be
open-minded and benefit. from the things we have
heard. today.’
“The audience applauded heartily. (Inside inform-
ation: Professor Seelliger is in good retation to the
Queen and WH we teke hin mental courage and hor
interest and deep understanding, we may conclude
that after all George Adamski'e visit to our country
has been a succeasiul one and the stepping stone
#0 a better hture.)"
Ragarding wy interview with the Queen, 1 will
again quote from the neport: “But one thing we tan
aay for sure, neo press reporters were present. So
what the press head further to say about his audience
was a big fe from the firat to the last Hne! Paria
