S. Navy; 2 7 . ‘OST, USAF; and Re3, U. S. Aray. Inasmuch as Seattle is the District Headquarters for the Intelligence Agencies in the Pacific Northwest, reports received, usually from the USCG, \ concemine incidents in the state of Oregon are immediately reported to that office as well as the Intelligence Agencies. é — ee Many of the reports are of a nebulous type, impossible of corroborating, and of doubtful authenticity. Some, by preliminary inquiry end evaluation, prove to be without foundation. However, as stated above, reports of this type are imncdiately disseminated to the Intelligence Agencies without evaluation, foltowed by additional information as obtained.
