Reference is mado to a memorandum to Mre Harbo from Mre Baughman Tie Rom
on tho above-cartioned matter, dated Septembor 3, 1947. The reference Fido Bee

Mre Zinteors of tho Technical laboratory advised Mr. Reynolds of the Liaigon
Section that Irs. whedon had told him that a Vajor Hopkins handled the Liaison in
Washington for the tests in which this instrunant was usede lLljeutenant Colonel George
Garrett of the Intellipencos Division of the Air Forces advised Special Agent Reynolds
that he contacted Vador Horkinse He advised that Major Hopkins has had a great deal
of experience in radio and along tachnical lin3s. Major Hopkins advised Colonel
Garrett that the instrument could not have been used in the "Operation Mogul." Hopkins ,
