Taxr * fy Refereme is made to my memorandum to you in the above captioned matter datedeugust 22, 1947, which indicates that Special Agent of the Liaison Section had contacted Lieutenant Cblorel of the Air Forces Intelligence at which tim Colonel Garrett advised that the Amy Air Forces were conducting no research or experiments in the vicinity of Twin Falls, Idaho, on or about August 19, 1947. Colonel at that time indicated to Lr. QM that he would check with the Amy area in order to ascertain whether or not they were conducting any experizvents in tnis vicinity at that tim.
