The following information was received 12 August 1947 from b t ;
New Hyde Park, Long Island, relative
o the sighting of a possible flying disc 4 August 1947,»
On 4 August 1947, QQ, on Si th Pon Avorican
Airways, Inc., was the first pilot of a Constellation type alroraft on a
flight frou Gander, Bewfoundland, to La Guardia Field, Kew York, pre pal
took over the aircraft at Gander, Newfeumdlend and departed at approxima —
1250 P.M, Fastern Daylight Saving Tine for La Guardia Field, Few York. At
1600 P.M, at s position approximately midway between the Everett (Mass) Fan
Marker and the Bedford Radio Beacon (Everett te 3 miles EW of Boston, Mass,,
and Bedford is 15 miles EW of the same olty) bot
