She stated that the message had anpeared in the "County Irritant," a feature of this paper, and had been signed “Radic Hav." ‘;, SP!" evsiay," Yenpstead, New York, was interviewed and a‘vised that this article had been sent to the newspaper by letter which was signed "Radio Ham," and explained that he had no way of determining the identity of the writer. Vr CE 321! that it was his ovinion, that the code had been made up by some local "screwball" who had been affected by all o he newspaper cublicity that had been given at that time to the story about*flyine discs. There is enclosed an article appearing in the July 12th issve of “hewsday" concerning this coded message, which might be of interest in this matter.
