On Friday I received a note from Taylor that said, “I did make out a list of prophecies, only four copies, keeping one for myself for 1970. I wrote the list out in late December because I knew I’d be leaving’ around Jan. 2 for the Pacific. ut I sent the three copies to friends out of town be- ause I was bothered so much by scores of people sking me to ‘read’ for them, “However “I have decided to send you my one and only copy. You will see I made some hits already and some minuses. You can't pinpoint the exact date or even the exact month most of the time. It isn’t pos- sible. The picture for the world looks awfully cloudy though. “If you wish you can publish these prophecies.” * * ? NATURALLY I wanted to, since I shave had inquiries about the predictions from as far away as Texas, So here they oy —This will be a jong, hard, exceptionally cold winter over most of the United States, re- sembling the terrible winter of 1945-46.
