SYNOPSIS AND DETAILS: At 4:15 p.m. on September 30, 197 telephonically adviser me that William Gardner of the Civil Rights Division had called him at appr oxime 4 p.m. on September 30 to request him to appear for an interview concerning surreptitious entries and the Weatherman investigation. Gardner told him that th interview would not be one requiring an advice of rights but one in which Si: that he told Gard: would be requested to furnish general knowledge he had no knowledge of surreptitious entries and he would appear for the requeste interview. The interview is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 1976, 3 Room 1038 in the Civil Rights Division space located at 550 11th Street, Washingt D.C. loQ-II M@lo- OX * ee: that he had previously called Mr. Adams and ™ Mr. Adams had referred him to me concerning this matter. He said that it was his understanding that matters that might be classifiable could be discussed with Department Attorney Gardner.
