Previous spot checks on numerous occasions have shown that there is a very limited amount of pedestrian and automobile traffic after 12 Midnight. These spot checks have also shown that the lights of the apartments in the building across the street from headquarters and the apartment lights of the headquarters building are darkened. Entrance will be made between the hours of 12 Midnight and 4 AM, June 30, 1960. After entrance is made a duplicate padlock will be sub- stituted for the original. This padlock will be locked by the security agents on duty in front of the headquarters as a security measure, It has been ascertained that the following YSA members have keys to the headquarters: oe (CF 7)/t Prior to the development of the Rigi.y coi sourcE, these individuals will be placed under surveillance and their whereabouts established before the assignment begins. In addition to the above security precaution, agents will be assigned security duty in the vicinity of 45 E. 7th Street, and will be in radio contact with agents on the surveillance and tle agents contacting the highly confidential source. a ct Security will be assured prior to entry on this assignment. me oo Ill. PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT To locate records and information relating to the national organization of the YSA, the identity of national members located throughout the country. Also it is anticipated that records of the local organization will be made available.
