The folloy investigation was conducted in Wash-
ington, D.C. by SA n June 13, 1974:
Police Department, lst Street, N.E., stated that he has been
unable to determine who the initial secretary was that received
the letter addressed to the Supreme Court, postmarked Selmer,
Tennessee, February 20, 1974. The original letter was given
to him by an unrecalled individual and the original letter
was then turned over to the U.

was initialed by Special Agent the Secret Service.
There are no other letters, especially typewritten letters,
critical of or threatening members of the Supreme Court that
have been received from this area and Tennessee recently.
