NOTE: Unknown subject directed an undated obscene, threatening
Yetter to the U. S. Supreme Court, postmarked November 23, 1970,
Pittsburgh, Pa., eritizing the Court unless new laws banning
"pornographic gunk" are passed the Supreme Court would be > bombed .
Unsub nas now directed a ietter to the Director qated 12/8/76,
in an effort to have the Director influence the Supreme Court
Justices to change the permissive, lewd pornographic movies,
stage plays, and books which they have allowed in this country.
He again threatens the Supreme Court because of their failure to
change the pornography laws. Pitteburgh Office is currently
attempting to identify the author of these letters, and the United
States Attorney, Pittsburgh, is of the opinion the letter to the
U. S. Supreme Court is a possible violation of the Federal
Extortion Statute.
