THREAT AGAINST
SENATOR EDWARD M. KENNEDY
CONGRESSIONAL ASSASSINATION STATUTE
On June 22, 1982,L_—idSSséeemployed at PS
Chevron Service Station, Baker; Califormia, telephone . BIC
number 714/733-4381, telephonically advised that on
June 22, 1982, at approximately 3:05 PM, he served a
customer in his station who stated that he was going
to get Edward Kennedy. The customer stated that the
Secret Service had harassed him in Jacksonville,
Florida, and that they got him. The customer further
stated that he has an ex-wife in California who is taking
money from him and that he was having his car shipped
out of the country and was going to leave the country.
The customer paid cash, asked for a receipt, requested
it not be run through the register, and stated, "Edward,
he's not even worth it." The customer was last seen
geparting northbound on Interstate 15 toward Las Vegas,
evada.

model Chrysler station wagon about mid 1970s, maroon with
wood siding and bearing California license
described the customer as nicely dressed white male, approxi-
mately 55 years old, slight build, gray hair, balding, and wore
a thin mustache.
