On 11/29/72, SA f Secret Service
Liaison telephonically contacted Inspector and advised he had
received a copy of an undated letter signe oncerned Citizens" aan
addressed to Mr. Gray stating a believed to be pe
employed in the Boston Office of Senator Kénnedy(D - Mass.), "could WW
render the Senator in a dangerous position," because of her unusual
behavior. [__Jinquired as to what, if any, action the FBI had taken
concerning this Communication. He was requested to furnish
a copy of the communication and when this was received a check was.
made of records at Bureau Headquarters and no record of the commutiica-
tion could be found. subsequently was contacted and asked if -
Secret Service might also have the original. He subsequently reported
- back that they had. found the original in their office, adding that there
was no indication as to how itwas received. He was requested to return
the original document to Mr. In the meantim
telephonically contacted in Senator Kennedy's Office and advised
her of the contents of the communication. She state is ~
known to the office and has done: part-time work in the past in the Kennedy Gs
Office in Boston. She implied that the letter in all probability was written
because of personal spite, perhaps on. the part of other employees in the

office, although she did state that "does have a problem."
She was advised that the FBI was taking no further action concerning this
matter.
On 12/18/72, the enclosed communication dated 12/13/72
from James J. Rowley, Director, Secret Service, was received enclosin
the original copy of the anonymous communication. Secret Service has
no action on this matter. i? j
