At about 1:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 20, 1964, Mr. Ed - / Guthman, Special Assistant to the Attorney General, telephoned me and advised that he and Deputy Attorney ‘General Katzenbach were proceeding to Northampton, Massachusetts, to join the Attorney General at the hospital where Senator Kennedy was confined.
