“as I remember Mr. SRM when he lived in the Glan Apartment,

and 1940, I would consider his actions to indicate that ho was
disloyal to the United States Government. Though about 8 years
have elapsed since my contact with Mr. @QRRMMR, and oy conception
of the term 'Caammist' and 'fallow traveler' may have bean colored
by present manings of these terms, I feel that Mr. Cen porhepe
was and may be a
mean 'A group or groupe to overthrow om government or cause ‘Adpeantion
or dissatisfaction with our way of Government or anyone who is loyal
to the Russian Government.' By ‘fellow traveler! I mean 'A coverup
group for the Cammmists who do their dirty work.' By ‘dirty work!
I mean ‘To pass out their literature or make contacts for them.’ -
"During the time I saw Mr. Ge I observed him passing out literature
dn the lobby of the apartaent for the QQ Croup, which at that
time I considered to be a group which were disloyal to the United States.
I received one copy of these pamphists. I cannot recall that it
eaid anything of a dislayal neture however. I also recall thst
Mr. GER pot this- literature under the doors of the ppartments on
the up floors. I believe Mr. SAROWR was a weber of the
Pee SS Organisation, because he tried to sell the principals
of the organisation to two of the alevator operators which he
4ntizated to be operators as being better than our American way.
He frequently talked about their low pay and long working hours « He
f@eomed to ms to be a fanatic on anything pertaining to labor, te
wnioms, to conditions under which mor icons work, and tla pay scales.
This to me was an indication that Mr. @@MD might bo a Commmist.
