Loyalty Review Board.

The commission implied that:
it would have pressed its case
against Miss Dellaas before
July 29, but that the Justice
Department had requested it to
withhold its inquiry until after
that date.
Miss Dellaas appeared before
the District Court grand jury
on March 18 and again on April
B. Her testimony, according to
the commission. covered 165
pages. The grand jury took no
action against her. _
In its petition, signed by its;
three members, the commission’
said it desired to study a trans-|
cript of Miss Deflaas’ testimony
to determine whether there was
a “dercliction of duty” on the
part of any employe in the exec-
utive branch of the Government,
Tt also said Miss Dellaas had
refused to give the commission
full and complete answers to
the questions put to her on [
the graund that she may have
testified on the subject befere
the grand jury and that her
testimony there was confiden- - f
tial. .
The commission announced it,
had informed Miss Dellaas that j
it would seck her grand jury!
testimony. It was informed,
through her attorney, Daniel 7:

a formal objection to the court
