In this case there were reports fron two different Government investirative acencies. Another Govern ment investifative efency advised that a reliable informant reported that a woll~knowm Communist in Newark, New Jersey, gave him the unqualified infor- mation that this inuividual was a paid-up fellow party member. While acting as 4 newspaper reporter prior to his present employment with the Voice of america broadcast he was re; orted by his superiors to have colored his news reports with Commmist theory, und did not give complete and unbiased coverage to such reports. ‘that is important because it is this individual vho is now handine out news rerorts on the Voice of smerica progcram. A very close friend of this individual and his brother stated that both are definitely commnist.
