The chert is approxi: ately four by six feet in size and is the regular orverizationel chert of the State Departnent with =: varicus names written on it with lines drawn to the respective division in which , the euployees were working.’ The employees were divided into two groups: (1) Soviet Underground Intelligence Connections. (2) Amneragie. There are 4 charts in all, each purporting to be the sane but with various and different notations with ! reference to nates appearing thereon. None of the charts appeared to be a finished product but appeared to be work sheets. The enployees are broken dorm into i categories of agents, Communists, sjupathizers and suspects. Of the agents (20) ! and Communists (13), the State Department has compiled lists (attached). They | have not as yet been able to compile lists on the sympathizers (14) and suspects (77).
