was ttyest, FIEID tren indicated he had first met LATTIMORE in the early 1930's,
believing it to be more specific in 193), shortly after LATT DORE had joined .

When questioned as to the nature of FIELD's association with LATIDIORE,
FIELD stated that LATTE:'ORE had worked for the International Secretariat of -
the IPR at the sane time FTELD had been comected with the American branch of
tat ortarization. FIELD stated their association was limited due to the fact
that they + vere employed bv separate branches of the IPR and were generally in
different parts of the United States,

FIELD was asked why he admitted knowing LATTINORE when he declined to
answer weether or not he knew BRODER or TRACHENBERS, FIELD declined to answer
this question on the grounds of self incrimination,
In answer to a question relative to the specific occasions upon which
he had met LATTINOnw, FIELD stated they ware both employed by the IPR but in
different branches, He stated he had met LATTIVORE in Conmittee meetings and —
had also seen him at International Conferences held in different parts of the
world.
FIELD was then questioned relative to his most recent association with
LATTL'CPE. FIEID stated he has not seen LATTRIORE in approximately five or six
years to the best of his recollection, When asked what the occasion of their
last meeting was, FIELD stated he did not remember. FIELD then continued that
he had remained a member of the Board of Trustees of the IPR after his resignation
fran his job with that organization. He stated LATTT‘ORE was also a Trustee of
the IPR, FIELD stated it was his belief that his last meeting with LATTIHORE was
eS - likely at a meeting of the Trustecs in the early 190's. FIELD stated he
eam ly believed all of his meetinzs with LAT?T. CRE to be in connection with the IPR.
