Mr, Samuel S, Boykin, Director, Office of Consular Affairs, State
Department (a Deputy to Under-Secretary Feurifoy and responsible for the
operations of the Security Division), informed EEE to cey that the Sta
Department anticipates being questioned by Senator Tydings (D-Mi,) concerning
various phases of thavescuri ty and loyalty investigations, activity in the State
\ ,, Department, Mr. Boykin and Mr. Peurifoy state that, undoubtedly, the question.9
